Compact key chains in full-grain Horween Chromexcel, an oil-rich leather built to hold your keys securely and patina with use.
Small and simple, and the Chromexcel pulls up lighter wherever it bends.
There isn't much to a key chain, which is why the leather has to be right. This is a folded strip of Horween Chromexcel, 4.25 inches long, closed with stainless steel button studs onto a stainless split ring. Unsnap the studs and the ring lifts off without the keys coming off it. Chromexcel is combination-tanned and hot-stuffed with oils, so it takes a decade of pocket wear and looks better for it.
Black is matte and stays that way. Color 8 is Horween's oxblood, a burgundy deep enough to read almost brown indoors. Natural starts a raw golden tan and darkens with every grab of the keys, which makes it the piece to buy if you want to see what this leather does. It's the same hide as the valet trays.
