Altsha Leather Belts

Belts handcrafted in the USA in a wide range of leathers, colors, and sizes, for both casual and formal outfits.

Horween and Wickett & Craig leathers, lined or unlined, cut to the length you wear.

Altsha Leather Belts

Cut from a single piece

Most belts are two thin layers glued back to back, which is why they crack and curl at the fold. Ours are one piece of heavyweight Horween or Wickett & Craig leather, so there's nothing to come apart. Each is cut, punched, riveted at the buckle fold and finished by hand in our California workshop.

Lined or unlined

Unlined belts are the casual end: soft Chromexcel, or Dublin if you want something tougher. Both soften with wear. Lined belts add a vegetable-tanned backing for structure and are stained along every edge, which is the crisper, more formal line.

Getting the length right

This is where most online belt orders go wrong. We cut to your measurement, not a waist size, so take a belt you already wear and measure from the buckle fold to the hole you actually use. Lengths run 26 to 44 inches. Widths are named on the shelves: modern is 1 inch, standard is 1.25, heritage is 1.5.
