Chromexcel leather belts, cut unlined from one Horween hide. Soft and supple from the first wear, and it pulls up lighter wherever the belt bends.
One thick piece of leather with nothing glued behind it, cut to your measurement in three widths.
Chromexcel is the leather most people mean by a Horween belt. It's combination-tanned at the Horween tannery in Chicago, IL, and hot-stuffed with oils and waxes, which gives it the traditional classic American leather look and feel: soft and supple from the first wear, rich in the hand, never stiff. We cut it unlined, one thick piece with nothing glued behind it.
Bend a Chromexcel belt and the oils move with it, so a lighter tone surfaces at the fold and around the holes you use. That's the pull-up, and it's why the belt looks better at year three than on the day it arrives. Left alone the marks blend back as the oils redistribute. A wipe with a dry cloth is all the care it wants.
Black, Brown, Natural, Navy and Color 8, Horween's oxblood. Each is cut to your measurement, buckle fold to the hole you use, in 26 to 44 inch lengths and three widths.
