A heavier frame with a squared shoulder and a broad tang, for hardware meant to read as part of the watch rather than as a fastening. The tang is cut for the oblong hole rather than the round one, so it needs a strap punched with oblong holes and will not fasten on the standard round punch.

At 0.19 inches deep this buckle sits lower on the watch than the classic frame, while the squared shoulder and broad tang give it more presence across the strap. Polished stainless is the default and black PVD the quietest. Gold and rose gold are the warm pair, and a squared shoulder carries a warm finish better than a rounded one does. All four run 12 to 22mm.
