Navy shell cordovan is a deep inky blue under the shell's glass-like finish, cut unlined so it molds to the wrist. Navy Cypress is smooth and tight-grained with a matte finish. Navy Aspen carries Aspen's distinctive grain and polished luster, and it's the most textured of the three.
Navy does the job of a black strap with a little more warmth: dark under a cuff, clearly blue in daylight. It's the natural pairing for a blue dial, where black looks heavy, and it sits well with a white dial and a steel case. It patinas differently from black too, lightening at the edges and the buckle fold.
The shell cordovan is unlined; the Cypress and Aspen are lined. Every strap comes in 12 to 24mm, straight or tapered, and three lengths or a custom one, made to order in our California workshop. The sizing guide shows how to measure a lug width.
