Two pieces of leather in every strap, for added structure and resistance to stretching over years of wear.
The lining is natural vegetable-tanned leather. It stands up to sweat and feels comfortable against the wrist.
A lined strap is two pieces of leather. Behind the outer hide sits a vegetable-tanned lining, and that's what gives the strap its structure and keeps it from stretching over the years. It's also the side against your skin: durable, sweat-resistant, comfortable. Finished, a lined strap runs 2.0 to 2.4mm.
Lined straps hold a crisper line, which suits a dress watch and a formal cuff. They break in more slowly than an unlined strap, and they hold their shape longer once they have. If you'd rather have something that softens quickly and follows your wrist, the single-layer build is the other way to go.
Stained edges, a tapered profile, a matching floating leather keeper and Vinymo polyester thread. The fittings are a stainless steel buckle and stainless quick-release spring bars, so moving the strap onto a watch takes seconds and no tools.
