Cypress Watch Straps

The strap that takes a knock quietly

Cypress is the forgiving one. A light wax is ironed into a tight, smooth grain, so a scrape against a doorframe burnishes in instead of leaving a scratch you have to look at for a year. The finish is matte and the color variation is natural but gentle, so a strap on a watch you wear outdoors ages without ever looking beaten. If you want texture you can see across the room, Yellowstone or Derby is the shelf to try.

Five shades, all with a waxy glow

Natural is pale and golden, the closest we cut to raw leather. Tan is a sun-warmed saddle shade. Brown is rustic and mid-toned. Burgundy moves between red and brown depending on the light, and Navy wears toward a deeper blue. Every one is lined with vegetable-tanned leather and cut 12 to 24mm, in three lengths or a custom one.
